Ural Airlines has calculated its operational results of June and the first
half of the year 2010. In
June, the airline's airplanes made 1 650 flights (134% against 2009); among them,
745 domestic, 225 to CIS states, and 680 to other countries. They carried 195
462 passengers (120% of 2009): 82 152 domestic, 22 492 CIS, and 90 818
international.
In the six months of 2010, the number of passengers and flights grew more
than by 30%: we carried 753 420 PAX (134% against 2009) by 7 023 flights (3 689
within Russia,
1 281 in
the CIS, and 2 053 internationally), which is 35% more than in 2009. In January-May, the
airline transported 366 889 domestic passengers (136% against 2009), 115 904
PAX in CIS flights (164%), and 270 627 international passengers (123% against
2009).
Actual passenger turnover in June amounted to 529 296 000
passenger-kilometres (120% against 2009), the actual cargo turnover was 50 240
000 tonne-kilometres (122%). The first half-year's figures are 2 017 800 000
passenger-kilometres (133%) and 196 896 000 tonne-kilometres (137%).
The seat occupancy rate was in June 72.8%, the payload rate, 66.4%. In the
six months of this year, the figures were 65.4 and 62.5 percent respectively.

Ural Airlines is one of Russia's
top ten airlines in terms of traffic volumes and safety.
In 2009, the airplanes of Ural Airlines carried 1 497 443 passengers in 13
669 flights.
Modern, comfortable Airbus planes build the core of Ural Airlines' aircraft
fleet. At present the airline is operating A320 and A321 aircraft under an
operating lease agreement, and seven brand-new A320's will come directly from
the assembly line in the next few years. Besides, the airline owns various aircraft
types of Russian make.
