Attention! Departure time stated on your ticket (itinerary receipt) is LOCAL. Passengers must arrive at the airport early enough to have sufficient time for check-in and departure procedures. Passengers who miss the check-in completion time shall not be admitted for the flight.

Airport check-in
To check in for domestic flights and complete departure requirements (customs / immigration / veterinary / sanitary control, etc.) it is recommended to arrive at the airport 1 hour 30 minutes before departure, for international flights 3 hours prior to departure specified on the ticket (itinerary receipt).

Passenger check-in for both domestic and international flights ends 40 minutes prior to the flight departure time, except for airports mentioned in the table.

Through passenger and luggage check-in

Through check-in makes it possible for passengers travelling on a transfer route to check in for flights and receive all boarding passes at the same time, with numbers and seats assigned for all route sections (a maximum of four) at the first point of departure. This service makes it possible to check in:

  1. Passengers and luggage with a single ticket on a U6-U6 route.
  2. Only luggage with a single ticket on U6 – Interline Partner Airline, via Ekaterinburg Airport only DAL-DAL flight connections, via Domodedovo Airport DAL-DAL, DAL-IAL flight connections.

Self check-in

Ural Airlines offer its passengers the use of modern self check-in services that save you time and make it possible to check in for the flight in advance at a place of your convenience.

Online check-in for the flight

Checking in for the flight online makes it possible for you to check in for the flight from your home or office, and arrive at the airport at the time of security check and boarding*. You can choose the desirable seat aboard the aircraft as well as check in other passengers travelling with you.

  1. Read the online check-in rules
  2. In order to check in for the flight, you must tick the window ‘Confirm if you have read and agreed to Online Check-In Rules’, which confirms your agreement with the Airline’s rules. Then select your city of departure and proceed to next check-in stages.

    When you fill in the details, please note that first and last name are written in Roman letters and the order number differs from the booking number. These numbers can be found on the itinerary receipt. The first and last name can be converted using this transliteration form. In case the flight number consists of two digits, you must add zero before the number – e.g. for flight U6-99 you must enter 099.

    We would also like our passengers to know that the Airline begins transition to a new check-in system - Amadeus, a modern and convenient passenger online check-in system. In this context we do apologize for potential difficulties during online check-in, and rely on your understanding. You can always check in for the flight at check-in counters in the airport of departure.
  3. Online check-in for the flight starts 23 hours and ends 4 hours prior to departure.
    Complete list of destinations for which online check-in is available. For charter flights, check-in starts 6 hours prior to departure; for transit flights, 12 hours
    Checking in for transit flights is not available earlier than 12 hours prior to departure from the first point.
  4. Be sure to print out the boarding pass. In case you were unable to print your boarding pass for any reason, you must apply to the check-in counter in the airport of departure.
  5. Attention! After online check-in, you cannot make any changes to these tickets.

Mobile check-in for the flight

Mobile check-in services make it possible to check in for the flight anywhere, without having to be connected to a computer, choose a seat aboard the aircraft, and check in other passengers in the group. The mobile check-in service is available for all mobile devices with Internet access and screen resolution of at least 200 x 300 pixels. Mobile check-in is available for flights departing from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Irkutsk, and Novosibirsk. Mobile check-in for the flight starts 23 hours and ends 50 minutes prior to departure.

For charter flights, check-in starts 6 hours prior to departure; for transit flights, 12 hours.

For identification purposes, the passenger’s first and last name must be entered in Roman letters.

At the airport, at least 40 minutes prior to departure, you must print your boarding pass. This can be done in two ways:

  • print out at the check-in counter;
  • at the passport check counter, scan the boarding pass bar code from the mobile device screen to print a paper copy.

To access again the bar code, you can enter your full name or e-ticket number at the first step of Mobile Check-In. You can also save the bar code in your phone.

List of destinations with mobile check-in availability is limited.

Mobile check-in is not available for the following:

  • passengers with special service requirements during the flight (unattended child, transportation of animals, etc.);
  • passengers with more than 9 persons in their group

The system offers a limited number of seats on board for passengers with infants.

If you travel with luggage exceeding the hand baggage dimensions (more than 55 x 40 x 20 cm or more than 5 kg weight for Economy Class and more than 12 kg for Business or Comfort Class), you are eligible for mobile check-in; however, you also must:

  • arrive at the flight check-in counter 60 minutes prior to departure. Check-in for the flight 40 minutes prior to the time of departure. Time of departure is local;
  • Check in your luggage at the Drop Off check-in counter or check-in counter for your flight.

In case you qualify for a higher SERVICE CLASS for Wings Gold card holders, you will only be assigned a seat in Economy Class during mobile check-in. To upgrade your service class, please contact the check-in agent at the airport.

The airline reserves the right to alter the seat assignment you selected aboard the aircraft for flight safety purposes.

Self-service check-in kiosks

Self-service check-in kiosks allow passengers with e-tickets to check in for Ural Airlines flights departing from Ekaterinburg (Koltsovo), Moscow (Domodedovo), Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo), and Krasnoyarsk (Emelyanovo) (list of destinations)

Self check-in kiosks make it possible to:

  • check in independently, bypassing the waiting line at check-in counters;
  • check in in advance and choose the desired seat aboard the aircraft;
  • check in other passengers travelling with you;
  • receive a boarding pass.

Check-in at self check-in kiosks starts 23 hours and ends 50 minutes prior to departure.

Attention! Due to additional security measures introduced at airports, you must arrive at the airport well in advance to pass the security checkpoint.

Checking in at kiosks is not available to the following:

  • under-age passengers travelling unattended by an adult (capable) passenger;
  • special category passengers:
    • seriously ill passenger,
    • patient on stretchers,
    • restricted mobility passenger,
    • hearing / visually impaired passenger, unattended,
    • visually impaired passenger with a guide dog;
  • passengers carrying tame pet animals and birds;
  • passengers carrying luggage that exceeds allowed weight and/or dimensions;
  • passengers with a weapon and/or ammunition.

To check in and receive the boarding pass, please proceed to the check-in desk at the airport.

Online Check-In For Flight Via Call Centre

Online check-in assisted by Passenger Helpdesk is a new convenient service which makes it possible for passengers travelling without baggage to check in for an Ural Airlines flight and choose the desirable seat onboard the aircraft in the comfort of their home or office.The service is designed for passengers who would like to check in for a flight online but cannot do so by themselves for any reason.Within the scope of the new service, the Helpdesk specialists will assist the passenger through every step within online check-in.In order to use the service, the passenger should call 8-800-7700-262 (toll-free within the RF).

View the list of special services and passenger types for which online check-in is not available. To check in and receive the boarding pass, please proceed to check-in desk at the airport of departure.

To check in online for the flight:

  1. Read the online check-in rules
  2. Prepare the information to be shared with the Passenger Helpdesk specialist: ticket number or departure date stating flight number, and the e-mail address from which you can print out your boarding pass.
  3. Online check-in for direct scheduled flight starts 23 hours and ends 4 hours prior to departure.

    Complete list of destinations for which online check-in is available. For charter flights, check-in starts 6 hours prior to departure; for transit flights, 12 hours. Checking in for transit flights is not available earlier than 12 hours prior to departure from the first point.

  4. Call Passenger Helpdesk toll-free at 8-800-7700-262. If you are not within the RF, call +7 (343) 345-36-45.
  5. Share all pertinent information with the Helpdesk operator, and choose the desirable seat onboard the aircraft.
  6. Wait until you receive a message with your boarding pass at the e-mail address you stated, and print it out.
  7. In case the aircraft is replaced / cancelled, please contact the check-in desk operator to exchange the boarding pass.

Attention! After online check-in you cannot make any changes to these tickets.


Important information

  • All passengers must have a boarding pass and government issued ID stated on the ticket (itinerary receipt).
  • ECONOMY Class passengers are allowed to carry on board one piece of luggage (hand luggage) with dimensions not exceeding 55 x 40 x 20 cm and weight not exceeding 5 kg; BUSINESS and COMFORT Class passengers, 12 kg.
  • For flight security purposes, the airline reserves the right to change your seating preference aboard an aircraft when the boarding pass is issued, or aboard the aircraft as directed by the pilot in command.
  • In case of unassigned seating, the passenger receives a boarding pass without a seat assigned. Passengers may take the first available seat aboard the aircraft. Unassigned seating is applicable to all self check-in services.
  • In case a passenger orders a special service or belongs to a special passenger category, self and through check-in may not be available to him/her. To check in and receive the boarding pass, please proceed to the check-in desk at the airport.

In case the dimensions and weight of your luggage exceed the hand luggage allowance, you must:

  • check in your luggage at the DROP OFF check-in counter or check-in counter for your flight;
  • arrive at the flight check-in counter 60 minutes prior to departure. Check-in for the flight ends 40 minutes prior to the time of departure. Time of departure is local.

When you check in your luggage, you

  • must know its contents;
  • must not take articles and packages from strangers to carry in your luggage;
  • must not carry hazardous substances and articles prohibited for air transportation.
