For passengers who bought tickets before May 1, 2020, funds for canceled flights were issued on electronic certificates. According to Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No991 dated July 06, 2020, if a passenger has not used the certificate within 3 years from the date of departure indicated on the ticket, then he can return the money.
The refund procedure applies to contracts of carriage concluded before May 1, 2020:
- enforceable from February 1, 2020 for international air transport with the People's Republic of China;
- enforceable from March 18, 2020 for all domestic and other international air transportation.
If you have not used the certificate after 3 years from the date of departure of the flight, you must apply in one of the following ways:
- on the airline's website, by filling out the appropriate return application form ( fill out an application );
- by mail to the address of the airline: 620025, Yekaterinburg, per. Morning, 1 year, attaching a completed return application ( download application ).
