In accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, children aged 0 to 5 years are accepted for transportation only if accompanied by an adult passenger.
One adult passenger (of age) can carry with him one child under two years of age (without providing a separate seat) on flights within Russia - free of charge, and on international flights - with a 90% discount on the adult passenger fare.

Please note that special entry rules apply on international flights, requiring passengers to independently fill out health questionnaires.

At what age can children fly?

If it is necessary to send a child from point A to point B, children of the following ages are accepted for an accompanied flight:
  • In Russia and the CIS - children from 5 to 12 years old;
  • To foreign countries - children from 6 to 12 years old.
For children over 12 years old, the airline can also provide escort, but at the request of the parents.

What documents are needed to fly with a child?
To fly a child under 14 years old within Russia, a birth certificate is required.
If you plan to travel to another country, you will need a foreign passport for your baby.
When a minor citizen of Russia crosses the state border of the Russian Federation together with one of the parents, the consent of the second parent is not required if the border authorities have not received a statement from him about his disagreement with the departure of his children from the Russian Federation. The presence of any documents confirming the degree of relationship is not provided.
If a minor citizen of Russia leaves the Russian Federation unaccompanied by parents, adoptive parents, guardians or trustees, he must have with him, in addition to his passport, a notarized consent of the named persons for the departure of the minor citizen of the Russian Federation, indicating the period of departure and the state (in) which ( s) he intends to visit. The consent of one of the parents is sufficient if the second parent has not received a statement about his disagreement with the departure of an unaccompanied child from the Russian Federation.

What can you take on board for free for your baby?

Are bassinets available on the plane for infants?

Ural Airlines employees can accompany the child during the flight.
The airline is ready to accept on flights:

  • Fill out an application for transportation of an unaccompanied child in 4 copies: indicate the points of departure and arrival, the child’s details, the details of the sending person, the meeting person, etc.;
  • Pay for the service.
An adult accompanying a child is recommended to remain at the airport until the flight departs.
Only the person whose details are indicated in the Application can pick up the child at the airport of arrival. The person meeting you must provide a document confirming your identity.
