On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of domestic civil aviation, the MOST theater studio presented a performance based on the play by Edward Radzinsky about the love of a flight attendant and a researcher in the colorful era of the 60s.

The theater studio "MOST" timed the premiere of its new play "104 pages about love" staged by Georgy Dolmazyan to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Russian civil aviation, which will be celebrated in February 2023. The pre-premiere show took place on December 12 on the Main Stage of the Theatre. The guests of honor of the event were Damir Yusupov, a civil aviation pilot, Hero of Russia, commander of an Airbus A321 of Ural Airlines, who successfully landed near Zhukovsky on August 15, 2019, and Rudolf Glushkov, an excellent student of Aeroflot, a veteran of civil aviation.

The performance was staged in the genre of musical melodrama. The 1964 play by Edvard Radzinsky presents the love story of stewardess Natasha Alexandrova and an employee of the Research Institute, Electron Evdokimov. Their relationship, which lasted only a few days, the director called "a concentrate of love": Natasha dies saving passengers. “In the play, I am impressed by the “concentrate” of love. In a short time, people live everything that some are not given to go through in their entire lives, ”said the director.

“The time of heroes, real heroes - this theme should be cultivated in our days. People who do not advertise their heroism on a daily basis are extremely sympathetic to me. I would like especially young people to look at how you can be modest, charming, beautiful, being a completely brilliant person. These are the characters in this performance,” said Georgy Dolmazyan.

Damir Yusupov thanked the creators of the production and answered a question about his attitude to the transfer of personal relationships between aviators into plots for performances: “Aviation professions - pilots, flight attendants, flight engineers - are shrouded in an aura of mystery, they seem to be classified as “secret”. However, they are just people doing their job. They have families, they love and suffer. When we come to work, we try to leave all emotions at home. And, unfortunately, there are very few works showing the work of aviation employees from the inside. Because our work is very interesting, and in my opinion, the audience especially wants to know about the relationship of crew members with each other and with other passengers.

"104 pages about love" the actors and the audience flipped through in two hours without intermission. The performance was met with thunderous applause. The next performances will be held on January 19 and 20, the performance can also be watched throughout the anniversary year.

The performance features Alexander Lyrchikov, Alexander Khoshabaev, Natalia Dedeiko, Alexandra Kareeva, Leonid Semyonov, Roman Zuev, Ekaterina Aleksashina, Yulia Vergun, Mikhail Kazakov and other actors. Costume designer Vadim Andreev, lighting designer Alexandra Demcheva, sound designer Vladislav Kononov, choreographer Vladimir Belyaykin worked on the production together with the director.
