A girl was born aboard Ural Airlines!
It happened on the flight Zhukovsky - Khujand. After climbing, the passenger felt pain in her stomach, which she reported to the crew. Senior flight attendant Christina turned to the passengers on the speakerphone with a request to respond to medical workers.
As if by magic, an almost full-fledged maternity hospital appeared on board: a neonatologist (!), two midwife nurses and even a radiologist. The medical staff assessed the situation and agreed on a course of action. The commander of the ship asked the doctors if an emergency landing was needed at the nearest airport. But the doctors assured that this was not necessary, and an hour later the charming baby was already born.
The girl was born healthy (height 46 cm, weight 2600 g). Upon arrival, an ambulance was waiting for the young mother. They have already been discharged from the hospital, both are doing well.
