A child was born on a Ural Airlines flight

Starting the year with an increase has become our good tradition. On January 10, a girl was born on flight U6-2441 en route Zhukovsky - Dushanbe. This happened a year after a similar incident. Then, on December 29, 2022, on the Zhukovsky-Khujand flight, baby Oyshakhon was born.

Immediately after gaining altitude, one of the women began to scream loudly. Flight attendants rushed to her aid, among whom was Nadezhda Ivakina, a former paramedic, and nurse Madina, one of the passengers. As it turned out, the passenger’s water had already broken and contractions had begun. The woman in labor was quickly placed in a row of three chairs and a birth kit was prepared.

“As soon as they began to provide assistance, the head was already visible, and very soon the child was born. This happened at 2:25 Dushanbe time, and at 2:55 the placenta was born. The situation was immediately reported to the captain of the aircraft, and since the birth took place without complications, an emergency landing was not required. Upon arrival at Dushanbe airport, we handed over the mother and baby to the ambulance. The emotional passengers collected a “dowry” for the newborn right on board: 55 thousand rubles and 3 thousand somoni,” says senior flight attendant Anastasia Semyonova.
