Ural Airlines delivered the holy relics of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk to Yekaterinburg

Tonight, a reliquary with particles of the relics of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk arrived from St. Petersburg on flight U6-173.

The priests of the Yekaterinburg diocese who met the holy relic held a prayer service at Koltsovo airport.

The relic will be kept in the Alexander Nevsky Novo-Tikhvin Convent until October 28. You can touch it daily from 05:00, and from 11:00 to 17:00 special prayer services will be held in front of the reliquary.

Euphrosyne of Polotsk is one of the most revered Belarusian saints, the founder of female monasticism. She lived in the 12th century. In 2024, the 920th anniversary of her birth will be celebrated.
