Ural Airlines evacuated 2,990 people performing special flights


2990 passengers were transported by special flights of the airline in April.

In the context of the pandemic, Ural Airlines is actively collaborating with the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Communications, consulates and embassies to organize export flights. Special flights are carried out in order to help compatriots return to Russia from abroad, and foreign citizens to leave the Russian Federation.

According to the results of April, the airline completed 18 evacuation flights and transported 2,990 passengers. Among them, 1046 foreign citizens who were exported from Russia and 1944 Russians who returned to the Russian Federation. Most export flights were operated from Thailand, India, Turkey and the UAE to Russian cities: Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Ufa, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Samara, Tyumen, Rostov, Krasnoyarsk and Kemerovo.
