in the shortest possible time it would have been impossible without the support of the Pulkovo airport staff and the Northern Capital Gateway management company, their high professionalism, responsiveness and striving to achieve mutually beneficial results.

Michael Hoenberger, Deputy General Director, Chief Operating Officer of Northern Capital Gateway LLC:
- Our partner, Ural Airlines, despite the negative impact of COVID on civil aviation, continues to develop. The opening of an aircraft maintenance station is proof of this. Ural Airlines is one of the largest airlines in Russia, and we would like to thank the carrier for developing its presence at Pulkovo airport. We are confident that the opening of Ural Airlines' line maintenance stations will provide new opportunities for both the carrier and Pulkovo Airport.

After the opening ceremony, a sightseeing tour of the production areas of the new linear station took place.

Recall that Ural Airlines has an extensive flight program from St. Petersburg and is one of the five leaders of Russian airlines in terms of the number of flights to Pulkovo: from January to September 2021, the carrier's passenger traffic increased by 53% compared to the same period last year. The airline carried more than 832 thousand passengers, the number of take-offs and landings was 3 thousand. This year, new destinations have appeared in the wide route network of Ural Airlines, such as Fergana, Navoi, Kulyab, Gyumri and other cities of the CIS.

The linear service station at Pulkovo airport is the fifth anniversary opening. Earlier, the airline has already launched linear service stations in Chelyabinsk, Samara, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky.
