Ural Airlines received an award for its contribution to the development of Russian air transport at Wings of Russia-2021
The 25th anniversary ceremony of awarding the national aviation award "Wings of Russia" named after E.E. Chibirev at the end of 2021.
The airline received an award in the nomination "For Contribution to the Development of Air Transport in Russia" for many years of successful and stable development of a private commercial airline.
In his speech, Aleksey Genrikhovich Fomin, Deputy General Director - Quality Director of the airline, thanked the jury and noted: “There are many important words in the nomination: “long-term”, “successful” and “effective” - this is actually true. We are a little older than the Wings of Russia award, next year Ural Airlines will turn 30 years old. Indeed, every year from this period was difficult, but successful, properly planned and sufficiently effective. I think that the jury, when choosing the winner in this nomination, was not mistaken. We will try to prove this over the next thirty years in order to confirm the reward received today. Thank you!”
The national industry award "Wings of Russia" was established in 1997 by the Russian Association of Air Transport Operators and the industry publication "Air Transport Review" and has been a recognized industry award for many years, celebrating the success of domestic airlines in the development of the country"s civil aviation. The nominees were evaluated by an independent expert council consisting of representatives of the aviation industry, public organizations and the media.
