Ural Airlines registered its 1 millionth passenger at Pulkovo Airport
The millionth passenger transported by the airline from Pulkovo International Airport since the beginning of the year was teacher Alexandra Perfilyeva from the Khabarovsk Territory. She was flying from St. Petersburg to Yekaterinburg with a group of children on flight U6-173.
“We arrived with a group of children on an educational tour. There are 22 of us schoolchildren and two accompanying teachers from Vanino, Khabarovsk Territory,” Alexandra told about the trip.
Representatives of the airline and the airport congratulated the anniversary passenger. Alexandra was presented with a certificate for two free air tickets for Ural Airlines flights across Russia and a branded Pulkovo T-shirt.
When it became clear that the millionth passenger was the leader of a group of children, gifts were promptly prepared for the children. From the airline, young travelers received branded amenity kits and take-off candy. And the Pulkovo symbol MasCat gave them pencil cases.
“This year is very eventful: on December 28 the airline will be 30 years old, on March 12 the Ural Airlines representative office in St. Petersburg celebrated its fifth anniversary, and for the third year in a row we are celebrating our millionth passenger, which has already become a good tradition. Moreover, in 2021 we registered our millionth passenger in December, last year in November, this year the solemn event came a month earlier. Ural Airlines has an extensive flight program from St. Petersburg, and Pulkovo is one of our base airports. And we are glad that through joint efforts we are able to develop air communications. Once again, we congratulate the anniversary passenger!” noted Elena Ikchurina, general representative of Ural Airlines in St. Petersburg.
“Ural Airlines is a reliable partner of Pulkovo. Since the beginning of the year, it has been among the TOP 5 leaders in terms of traffic volume at the airport. We are confident that the airline will be able to maintain its leading position. The growing passenger traffic is proof of this. We wish you new discoveries, new directions! You have an interesting team with whom you have flown so far. With such a team, if you fly every day, the airline will quickly reach its two millionth passenger,” added Pavel Kushnirenko, director of ground handling at Northern Capital Gateway.
