The blessed fire was delivered to the Urals with a special flight of the Ural Airlines

The blessed fire from Jerusalem was delivered on a special flight of the Ural Airlines on Saturday night to Sunday night. He was brought to Yekaterinburg, accompanied by a delegation consisting of Ural pilgrims, representatives of education, science, culture, art, business and the public, led by Archpriest Maxim Minyailo, the senior priest of the Temple on Blood. This year, the St. Catherine Foundation took over all the costs of organizing the transportation of the Holy Fire from Jerusalem.

Ural pilgrims witnessed the miracle of the descent of the Holy Fire in the Jerusalem Temple of the Holy Sepulcher and brought it to all believers. The blessed fire will burn in the Orthodox churches of the whole Urals Federal District until next Easter.

Recall that the airline "Ural Airlines" for more than 10 years has been assisting in the delivery of sacred fire on the eve of Bright Sunday on a specially prepared aircraft. Holy Fire is a dangerous cargo; for increased safety, it is not installed in the passenger compartment, but in a specially designated place in the flight attendants work area. The crew undergoes special training and instruction to ensure additional safety during the transport of open fire.
