S.N. Skuratov was awarded a jubilee medal in honor of the 100th anniversary of Russian civil aviation

The Ministry of Transport of Russia hosted a solemn presentation of awards dedicated to the centenary of domestic civil aviation.

In honor of this event, as a sign of high respect for the work of aviators, the President of the Russian Federation established the anniversary medal “100 Years of Russian Civil Aviation”.

Sergei Nikolaevich Skuratov, General Director of Ural Airlines, was one of the first to receive this award. The medal was presented by the Minister of Transport Vitaly Gennadievich Savelyev.

The head of the Ministry of Transport thanked Sergei Nikolaevich for his enormous work, responsible approach to work and wished him health and new heights. “...As the head of state said, civil aviation effectively responded to modern challenges, systematically and consistently solved all problems that arose,” noted the Minister of Transport. “This is our team result, an indicator of the consistent development of the industry in previous years.”

The medal is made of golden-colored metal and has the shape of a circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side of the award is an MS-21 passenger plane taking off against the backdrop of the Northern Hemisphere, with a map of the Russian Federation. On the reverse side there is a propeller with wings and the numbers “1923-2023”.
