Checked baggage
The free baggage allowance depends on the chosen fare.
The maximum permissible size of a piece of luggage is up to 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions, no more than 100 cm on any side.
The maximum allowable weight of baggage is determined depending on the chosen tariff group “Economy”, “Business”.
Before checking in your luggage, make sure that the suitcase is carefully packed, its surfaces are intact and there are no damages.
Each piece of luggage must have at least one flat edge and bag handles must be firmly secured or retracted.
Following these simple rules will help you transport your luggage safely and without violations.
Baggage Pooling
If two or more passengers travel together for the same purpose of travel to the same airport of destination or stop on the same flight (made in a single booking or family members, persons traveling together or going on a business trip, who are made in different bookings) by tickets with an included free baggage allowance or registered excess baggage, then, at the request of passengers, it is allowed to apply to the baggage of these passengers the consolidation of baggage into one piece. In the case of combining checked baggage allowances, one piece of baggage should not exceed 30 kg in weight and 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions.
If passengers from a group are traveling on tickets without free baggage allowance included and have baggage paid at the established rate, then at the request of the passengers it is allowed to combine the weight of the baggage. In the case of combining checked baggage allowances, one piece of baggage should not exceed 30 kg in weight and 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions.
To check-in consolidated baggage, passengers must contact the check-in counter at the same time.
There is no combination of checked and carry-on baggage allowances.
If the weight of one piece of combined baggage exceeds 30 kg and/or the size exceeds 203 cm, then the carriage of such piece of baggage is subject to payment in accordance with the Airline's tariffs.
For the baggage of a passenger whose ticket indicates an increased quantitative free baggage allowance (Premium Economy, Comfort, Business fares), a combination by weight of the free baggage allowance may be applied. The combination is carried out within the general free baggage allowance of one passenger, and the combined piece of baggage cannot exceed 30 kg in weight and/or 203 cm in size.
ECONOMY TARIFF (norms for combining baggage according to the tariff)
- 2 people – one suitcase up to 30kg
- 3 people – one suitcase up to 30kg + one suitcase up to 23kg
- 4 people – two suitcases up to 30kg or one suitcase up to 30kg + two suitcases up to 23kg
If a passenger is traveling alone and has pre-registered additional pieces of baggage on the airline’s website, at the airport, ticket offices, etc., the number of pieces and weight of luggage presented at check-in must correspond to those previously registered.
