Weapons accepted for transportation are transported as checked baggage in accordance with the norms and tariffs established by Ural Airlines for baggage transportation.

According to the Federal Aviation Rules “On the air transportation of weapons and ammunition”, approved by Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation No. 275 dated August 16, 2021, weapons must be transported as a separate piece of checked baggage in an isolated compartment of the aircraft, paid at rates established by the carrier.
Individuals who have issued a ticket that includes the carriage of checked baggage have the right to carry one piece of weapons (consisting of a case with weapons + a case with ammunition), while the total weight of the case with weapons and packaging with ammunition must not exceed the established free baggage allowance according to paid tariff.
- Carriage of firearms by air is permitted in quantities of no more than 5 units, no more than 1000 cartridges and no more than 5 kg gross weight (DOC9284 AN/905) ICAO
- If a passenger is carrying weapons and luggage, the second piece of luggage is paid at the Airline's rates
- If the total weight of a case with a weapon and a package of ammunition exceeds the established baggage allowance, the excess is paid according to the Airline's tariffs
Additional free baggage allowance established by elite cards of the “Wings” program does not apply to the conditions for transporting weapons.
