Are infant bassinets provided on the plane?

The carrycot is not provided during the flight. Babies remain in the arms of an adult at all times.

It is impossible to take a stroller into the aircraft cabin due to safety requirements - it can fall, interfere with passenger service, block the passage, emergency exit, etc.

You can take a car seat into the cabin if it can be considered carry-on baggage in terms of dimensions and is suitable for use on an aircraft. To transport a child in a car seat, you must buy a separate ticket, because the car seat is installed in a separate place in the cabin.

Why was I refused to carry a passenger with a disability?

In some cases, the airline may refuse to transport a passenger with disabilities:

  • the passenger is sick and his illness poses a threat to the health of others;
  • the appearance and mental state of the passenger is a threat to others;
  • there is no confirmed consent of the carrier / carriers (for a connecting flight) for the carriage of a passenger;
  • there is no permission (medical certificate or declaration) for air carriage from the attending / accompanying doctor or the signature of the doctor of the medical center of the airport of departure is missing.

Why can they refuse to approve the carriage of an animal?

The airline may refuse to approve the carriage of an animal if:

  • there are no documents required for registration of an animal;
  • if the carriage of other animals has already been booked on the flight and the total number of pets transported exceeds the allowed number.

When the carriage is agreed, do not forget to pay for the service on the website or at the airport.

You should agree with your beloved pet about good behavior at the airport and throughout the flight. Otherwise, if the airport staff thinks he is aggressive or dangerous to other passengers, he may not be allowed on the flight.

How to transport a hamster or other animal?

Only dogs, cats, parrots or canaries are accepted for carriage.

Hamster, guinea pig, rat, chinchilla, chipmunk, squirrel, gerbil, dormouse, marmot, ground squirrel, jerboa and other rodents are not accepted for carriage.

Can I take my pet with me to the Business Class salon?

  • The economy class cabin can carry both animals and birds.
  • Only cats and dogs are allowed in the Business class cabin.

Animals and birds can only be transported in the Economy class cabin.

I want to move a cat. What certificates are needed?

To transport a cat across the territory of the Russian Federation, you must provide:

  • Veterinary certificate of vaccination of the animal or veterinary passport.

For travel outside the Russian Federation:

  • International veterinary certificate registered with the veterinary service of the border control point;
  • certificate of the breeding value of the animal for export;
  • documents required by the veterinary authorities of the country of arrival or transit.

We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the rules for the import of animals in force in the country of arrival.

Passengers flying with animals to Israel must obtain permission from the veterinary control of Ben Gurion Airport to bring the animal into that country.

There are also countries where it is forbidden to import animals, regardless of the number of permits and documents. The import of all types of animals is prohibited in the United Arab Emirates, the import of parrots is prohibited in Portugal.

How to order additional services?

You can order and pay for additional services while purchasing tickets. If tickets have already been purchased, and the service was required later, then you can order the service through the contact center operator, in your personal account in the mobile application or on the website, as well as at the airline's office, when you go through online check-in on the website or at the check-in counter before the flight.

Important: the closer the departure, the higher the cost of additional services can be. Therefore, by taking care of their registration in advance, you save both time and money.

What additional services can I order?

Ural Airlines offers passengers the following services:

  • Seat Selection - Admire the views from the porthole or stretch your legs in the front row. Or maybe both together?
  • Carrying a pet - so that the four-legged friend is definitely taken on board;
  • Unaccompanied children - Place your child in the safe hands of airline employees. They will help you undergo pre-flight training, take care of on board the aircraft and pass it on to the greeter.
  • Baggage customization and payment - you can pay for additional weight or special types of baggage: sports equipment or musical instruments;
  • The choice of food and the number of additional servings is for those who like it to be tasty and not like everyone else.

The weight of the suitcase exceeds the standard for the tariff. What to do?

You can, for example, upload something. But it's better to just pay for the carriage to avoid such sacrifices.
Extra baggage charges are based on weight and dimensions.
You can check in excess baggage when buying a ticket, as well as at the airport of departure for the entire route to your destination.

One passenger can be provided with no more than 3 additional pieces of baggage.

We ask you to inform the airline in advance if you want to carry excess, heavy or oversized baggage so that the airline can reserve a place in the baggage hold.

In what case can extra baggage be refused?

The capacity of the luggage compartment of aircraft differs, therefore, we ask, if possible, to inform the airline in advance about the desire to transport excess, heavy or oversized baggage so that the airline can reserve a seat for it.

If there is still not enough space for your luggage, the airline has the right to refuse you.

I want to send one child. How to do it?

Ural Airlines employees can accompany the child during the flight.

The airline is ready to take on flights:

  • In Russia and the CIS - children from 5 to 12 years old;
  • To non-CIS countries - children from 6 to 12 years old.

For children over 12 years old, the airline can also provide escort, but at the request of the parents.

Note! The airline accepts unaccompanied children only on direct flights or to the first transfer point.

The service for accompanying a child can be ordered no later than 72 hours before departure. This can be done at the airline's representative office, company ticket office, agent's office, or by purchasing a ticket on the website.

  • Issue a ticket for a child at the rate for an adult passenger;
  • Fill out an application for the carriage of an unaccompanied child in 4 copies, indicate the points of departure and arrival, details of the child, sending, meeting person, etc.;
  • You pay for the service.

An adult accompanying a child is advised to stay at the airport until the flight departs.
Only the person whose details are specified in the Application can pick up the child at the arrival airport. The meeting person must provide an identity document.
A ticket was purchased at the “Economy” tariff. Can I transfer to business class?
Yes, you can do this by ordering the “Upgrade” additional service.

This service is available:

  • blue and silver level Wings loyalty program members when paying with bonuses *;
  • for holders of "Wings" gold cards - free of charge with an air ticket at the Premium Economy rate *;
  • to all passengers of the Airline at the check-in counter at the airport of departure **.

* The desire to upgrade the class of service must be reported at least 5 hours before the start of check-in for the flight. This can be done while buying a ticket at the office or by calling the hotline: 8 (800) 7700 262 (free calls within the Russian Federation) or 8 (499) 920 22 52 (for calls from abroad).

    • if there are no vacant seats in the Business class cabin on the required flight;
    • in the absence of the Business class service on the required flight;
    • on flights operated by code-share partners of Ural Airlines;
    • transit passengers, regardless of the subclass of the purchased ticket;
    • passengers flying on a Moscow pass;
    • when checking in for a flight at the “Late Passenger” counter;
    • when flying with a small child under 2 years old;
