Requirements to luggage to be packed

Packaged baggage requirements

ONE ARTICLE OF LUGGAGE SHALL BE:

One individually identified article (bag, suitcase, parcel, box and other similar container covers, bottoms and walls whereof are tightly fit, and having handles for carrying).

LARGE-SIZE LUGGAGE SHALL BE:

Luggage with dimensions of one article exceeding 203 cm in sum of three dimensions.

OVERSIZE LUGGAGE SHALL BE:

Equipment for skiing, hockey equipment, bicycles, strollers, wheelchairs, fishing and golf equipment, etc.

DOUBLE BOXING SHALL BE:

Packing of two luggage articles into one, regardless of dimensions of each article of luggage, except for large-size and oversize luggage.

LUGGAGE PACKING TECHNIQUE:

Luggage packing is performed for safety assurance of passengers’ luggage contents by preventing impairment of a bag or suitcase.

The stretch wrapping technique is realized by rotational wrapping on a special device with regulated tension, lifting and speed of wrapping. Regulated tension allows selecting the degree of the freight compacting at wrapping – both significant compacting of freights and delicate wrapping of a fragile packing for safety of the pack contents when transporting by any overland, sea and air transport, and storage in warehouse premises.

CUSTOMS CONTROL

Usually luggage is inspected step by step by multiple vehicles, so there is no need to open the luggage, and the film remains intact. In special cases, the customs office may check physical inspection of a passenger’s luggage. In such a case, customs officers call for the passenger, in order the latter would open his luggage personally, as the inspection may be performed in presence of the passenger only.

WHEN PASSENGER’S LUGGAGE OCCURRED TO BE OPENED

If, upon arrival to the destination airport, a passenger finds his/her luggage open, he/she should not take such luggage from the conveyor belt. In this case, we recommend addressing the airport / customs officers first, showing them the receipt slip confirming that the luggage was packed.

WHEN LUGGAGE GOT LOST

A passenger should address the airport administrative office.

The service is valid -24 hours (minus twenty-four hours) before the flight departure and +72 hours (plus 72 hours) after the time of the flight departure stated in a passenger’s ticket.

The service is not referenced to the passenger’s name and to the number and route of the flight the passenger purchased the ticket for. Thus, the service can be delivered at any flight both of the Airline and other Forwarders (the Airline’s partners included), and both to the passenger the service was sold to, and to any other passenger.

When flights are cancelled (i.e. the airline does not perform it), either the passenger will get repayment of money, or altering of the period of service validity (the QR code validity period) may take place.
