At what age can children be transported?
Already 7 days after the birth of babies, they can be transported by plane. But it is worth listening to the recommendations of doctors, and to clarify whether the flight will be safe for the child.
Newborns, including prematurely born children, are allowed to fly only with a medical certificate confirming that the flight does not harm his health. Help can be obtained from the doctor observing the child.
If there is a need to send a child from point A to point B alone, then children of the following age are accepted for escorted flight:
- In Russia and the CIS - children from 5 to 12 years old;
- To foreign countries - children from 6 to 12 years old.
For children over 12 years old, the airline can also provide escort, but at the request of the parents.
Note! The airline accepts unaccompanied children only on direct flights or to the first transfer point.
Can I fly pregnant?
Can. But first of all, it is important to listen to your body and the recommendations of your supervisor.
In the period up to 12 weeks of pregnancy, the risk of miscarriage is high, and the pressure drop during takeoff and landing can only provoke it.
The period from 14 to 27 weeks of pregnancy is considered the safest and most comfortable time for flights.
It’s important to have a medical certificate and an exchange card with you at the time of check-in. airline staff may ask for them.
A certificate with a medical opinion about the absence of contraindications to air travel, as well as the absence of the danger of premature birth, can be obtained from the supervisor and it is important to do this no earlier than 24 hours before the departure time indicated on the ticket.
The responsibility for the state of his health and the health of the baby during and after the flight lies entirely with the passenger, regardless of the duration of the pregnancy. Do not expose yourself or the child to undue risk.
Can I reserve a seat for pregnant women at the emergency exit?
No. Before the flight you will be offered to transfer, even if you checked in in advance and made a choice consciously. This is contrary to safety regulations.
Do they provide baby food on board?
Infants under 2 years old are not provided with meals on board, but it is allowed to take baby food, dry mixes and cookies in unlimited quantities with them on the plane. If necessary, our flight attendants will bring you warm water for preparing mixtures and drinking.
For children traveling on a separate ticket, meals are provided, as well as for adults.
Where can I get a boarding pass for printing?
Boarding pass can be found:
- on the site immediately after passing the online registration;
- in a letter from the airline sent to the e-mail address specified during online registration;
- in your account on the website or in the mobile application.
You can print out your boarding pass at the airport reception.
Can I take a baby stroller to the salon?
You cannot take a pram into the cabin. This is not safe - it can fall, interfere with passenger service, block the passage, emergency exit, etc. Believe me, it will be more convenient to hand it in your luggage.
It can be checked in at the front desk (free of charge) or you can take the child in a stroller to the ramp and transfer it to the cabin crew at the very end. After the flight, you will be returned a stroller at the gangway or upon receipt of baggage.
What if the boarding pass is not printed?
A boarding pass can be obtained at the airport at the reception or at the self-check-in kiosk.
How do I know which plane I'm flying in?
Ural Airlines operates 45 modern Airbus class liners: 24 A320s, 16 A321s and 5 A319s. The main difference between aircraft is only the difference in the number of seats in the cabin - A321 is the most spacious, can carry 220 passengers, but there is no Business-class cabin.
According to the air code of the Russian Federation, an airline can replace one aircraft with a similar one if this is required to ensure flight safety.
If a passenger bought a ticket to the "Business Class" and the aircraft was replaced with A321, then the passenger will be given a seat in the "Comfort" class and the difference in the cost of tickets will be refunded.

The transportation of a passenger who cannot move independently or requires special care is carried out with an accompanying person.
How to transport a passenger with a guide dog?
A guide dog is transported free of charge. In order for the dog to be allowed before air travel, you must provide a document confirming the disability of the escorted passenger, and a document confirming the special training of the guide dog.
The dog must be in a collar and a muzzle from the moment of entering the airport until the exit from the arrival airport. During the flight, she should be tied to a chair at the feet of the passenger she is accompanying.

Passengers are transported on stretchers only on direct flights from Yekaterinburg.
To ensure passenger safety during the flight, transportation is carried out in ambulift, in the tail section of the aircraft. To find out about the possibility of such transportation, you must make a request to the airline no later than 4 days before departure.
What documents may be needed for a transfer flight?
In addition to standard documents in special cases, additional documents are required:
- If the flight is from one Russian city to another, but with a landing at the airport of the country with a visa regime, the transfer passenger must have a foreign passport and a valid visa;
- When flying from one foreign country to another with a landing in the city of Russia, non-residents of the Russian Federation must have a visa of the Russian Federation;
- When flying from one foreign country to another, you must have a visa to enter the final destination.
