Restrictions on carrying items in hand luggage from Egypt

Rules for carrying certain items in hand luggage on flights from Egypt:
  1. It is prohibited to transport hookahs in hand luggage (decision of the Egyptian security service); transportation is allowed only in checked luggage ;
  2. If passengers carry fruit in hand luggage, then the fruit must be a separate piece of hand luggage and not as part of a bag with personal items.
